# Directions:

01 - Arrange 8 clear cups with 6 to 8 ounce capacity on a clean work surface.
02 - Dissolve strawberry or cherry gelatin in 1 cup boiling water, stirring constantly for 2 minutes. Add 1/2 cup cold water and stir to combine. Distribute approximately 2 tablespoons of mixture into each cup. Position cups at a slight angle using a muffin tin for support and refrigerate for 45 to 60 minutes until firmly set.
03 - Sprinkle unflavored gelatin over 1/2 cup cold water in a clean bowl and allow to bloom for 5 minutes. Pour 1/2 cup boiling water over the bloomed gelatin and stir until completely dissolved. Stir in sweetened condensed milk until fully incorporated. Allow mixture to cool to room temperature.
04 - Once red layer is completely set, carefully pour white layer mixture over the red layer, distributing approximately 2 tablespoons into each cup. Position cups upright and refrigerate for 45 to 60 minutes until firm to the touch.
05 - Dissolve blue raspberry gelatin in 1 cup boiling water, stirring for 2 minutes. Add 1/2 cup cold water and stir thoroughly. Allow mixture to cool to room temperature.
06 - Once white layer is firmly set, gently pour blue gelatin mixture over the white layer, distributing approximately 2 tablespoons into each cup. Refrigerate upright for a minimum of 2 hours until completely set.
07 - Top each cup with whipped cream and garnish with fresh blueberries and strawberries if desired before serving.

# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • They look showstopping in clear cups but honestly require zero special skills, just time and a refrigerator.
  • The sweet, creamy middle layer is the surprise that makes people ask for the recipe every single time.
  • You can prep them the day before, which means less stress when guests arrive.
02 -
  • Each layer must be completely set before the next one goes on, or your stripes will blur together and you'll lose that crisp, beautiful definition.
  • Letting each mixture cool slightly before pouring it onto the previous layer is the difference between perfect layers and a melted mess.
03 -
  • Always let unflavored gelatin bloom for the full five minutes, or it won't dissolve completely and you'll end up with a grainy white layer instead of silky smooth.
  • If your layers are looking too thick or thin, you can adjust the amount per cup slightly, but consistency across all eight cups is what makes them look polished together.
