15 - 4 hamburger buns, split and lightly toasted

# Directions:

01 - In a large skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned and no longer pink, about 5 to 7 minutes, breaking up meat with a spoon. Drain excess fat if needed.
02 - Add chopped onion, bell pepper, and minced garlic to the skillet and sauté until softened, about 4 minutes.
03 - Stir in tomato sauce, tomato paste, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, brown sugar, chili powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
04 - Reduce heat to low and simmer uncovered, stirring occasionally, until sauce thickens, approximately 8 to 10 minutes.
05 - Meanwhile, toast the split hamburger buns in a skillet or oven, brushing with butter if desired.
06 - Spoon the beef mixture generously onto the bottom halves of the buns, then top with remaining halves and serve immediately.
