01 - Leave corn in the husk. If already husked, wrap each ear in a damp paper towel to retain moisture during cooking.
02 - Place corn directly on the microwave turntable, ensuring even spacing for consistent heating.
03 - Cook on high power for 4 to 5 minutes for 2 ears. Adjust timing: 3 minutes for 1 ear, add 1 to 2 minutes per additional ear.
04 - Carefully extract corn using oven mitts as the corn and husk will be extremely hot.
05 - Allow corn to rest for 1 to 2 minutes before handling to cool slightly and set the kernels.
06 - If cooked in husk, cut off the stem end and squeeze the corn out, allowing silk to remain in the husk. Peel away any remaining silk strands.
07 - Serve immediately topped with butter, salt, and pepper according to preference.
