→ Topping

18 - 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
19 - 1 tbsp melted butter
20 - 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese

# Directions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 350°F. Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
02 - Cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
03 - Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Season chicken breasts with smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Cook for 6 to 7 minutes per side until fully cooked. Remove from heat, rest for 5 minutes, then shred. Toss shredded chicken with barbecue sauce and set aside.
04 - In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Whisk in flour and cook for 1 minute. Gradually add milk, whisking constantly until smooth and thickened, about 5 minutes.
05 - Remove the sauce from heat. Stir in shredded cheddar, mozzarella, Parmesan, salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, and ground mustard until cheeses melt and the sauce is smooth.
06 - Mix the cooked macaroni with the cheese sauce. Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
07 - Evenly distribute the BBQ chicken over the mac and cheese base.
08 - Combine panko breadcrumbs with melted butter. Sprinkle this mixture over the chicken, then top with extra shredded cheddar.
